Your RSVP records your plans. A valid ticket or other admission is still required.
Sign in to RSVPAfter a night of Decompression, the only thing left to do is Com(pression)Town. Hop on the tube after PreComTown Decom and come to the Queen of Hoxton with The Flamin' Merkin and friends. We'll be Comming all over Town until the sun goes down.
It's a place to chill, come back down to Earth, catch up with friends, keep the rave going or finally get started. It's an after-party, it's The Actual Party, and it's a daytime burner event where you'll be looked after whatever your headspace.
Expect several theme camps, DJs, a performance space, costumes, coffee, cake, breakfast and tea, a BYO/donation bar and, of course, Margaritas. No commerce once you're through the door.
Made happen by Panravia, Camp Costume Camp, La Coneja Blanca, The Flamin' Merkin and all of you volunteers and participants.
Wave 1 sold out in under three minutes. Wave 2 goes on sale once we have enough volunteers to run the party. Tickets are on Zero Waste Tickets.
Tiers are £25, £30 or £35 and all get you the same party. Your ticket covers fees, drinks, food, entertainment and a contribution to the theme camps involved. If you can pay a bit more, pick a higher tier or add a donation: it covers the treats and helps someone else come.
If cost is what's stopping you, email comdowntocomtown@proton.me and tell us why you need a lower-income ticket. Requests are reviewed after the first wave.
Volunteer: shifts, rangering, gate, food, bar, strike. Our volunteer co-ordinator will get back to you.
DJ, perform or run a workshop: DJs, bands, cabaret, spoken word, art. Participation, remember?
Donate food, cake or bar: bake something, or bring that bottle gathering dust.
The venue is strictly 18+. We tried, but under 18s can't come in.
Everyone here has the right to feel safe. We're radically inclusive until you're a dick. We can refund your ticket before the event, refuse entry or ask you to leave if you put other people at risk.
The Queen of Hoxton is an old pub. There are 2 or 3 steps from the street to the ground floor, a basement down a flight of stairs, and a rooftop terrace three storeys up.
A lift runs from the ground floor to the floor below the roof terrace.
Nearest stations: Old Street, Shoreditch High Street and Liverpool Street.
If you need a carer to attend, they get a virtually free +1. Email comdowntocomtown@proton.me and we'll sort you both out.
