The short version
fyb uses no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies at all. The only cookies we set are the ones that keep you signed in. That’s why there’s no cookie banner — there’s nothing to opt out of.
The cookies we set
Signing in sets sb-…-auth-token session cookies (Supabase Auth). They exist so you stay signed in while you use the site, and they are strictly necessary for the service you’re asking for — the category exempt from consent requirements under PECR.
Storage on your device
Ordinary browsing stores nothing personal in your browser. Gate check-in devices used by event staff cache an offline copy of the attendee list so check-in works without signal — that is staff equipment governed by the event’s data-handling rules, not your personal device.
Third parties
No third-party scripts run on fyb pages: no analytics, no social pixels, no embedded trackers, and fonts are served from our own infrastructure. When you pay, Stripe’s payment element runs in your browser and sets its own cookies strictly for payment processing and fraud prevention — see Stripe’s cookie policy.
If this ever changes
If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we’ll update this page and ask for your consent first, with a genuine “no” option. Questions: hello@fyb.events. More on how we handle your data: Privacy & GDPR.
