How to participate

Pick something that feels doable and fun, then do a little bit more than you would at a normal event.

Easy ways to get involved

• Volunteer for a shift — gate, rangers, leave-no-trace, welfare, build/strike.

• Join a theme camp to create shared spaces.

• Bring an art installation — interactive and visually engaging pieces.

• Host a small workshop — crafts, games, skills or storytelling.

• Run a tiny pop-up — a tea service, compliments booth or photo corner.

Getting started

Don’t wait until you feel fully ready. Simple, spontaneous contributions often work best. Turn up and ask: “How can I help?”

Participation comes with responsibilities

• Respect consent and personal boundaries.

• Support your fellow attendees and neighbours.

• Keep the site clean.

• Handle problems yourself rather than creating unpaid work for others.

Volunteer sign-up forms are available for both pre-event preparation and event-time shifts.
