Run The Point, Nest's open venue for workshops and talks.
Activities / responsibilities
- Invite people to propose workshops, talks and community sessions at The Point. Anyone can use the space.
- Put together the venue timetable for the What Where When guide (WWW).
- Plan the build with DPW.
- Plan the layout and decoration.
- Look after the venue through the event.
- Organise strike afterwards.
The best bit about this role
You set up a space anyone can use, then watch people fill it with workshops and conversations through the event.
You'll be great at this if you
- like putting a programme together from lots of different people
- are happy to work with DPW to build and decorate a space
- can join DPW for some of Build Week
- are organised enough to keep a timetable and a venue running

Pre event
Collecting workshop proposals and building the timetable for the WWW in the months before. Joining DPW for some of Build Week is a big help.
During event
Keeping The Point running and in good shape through the event, then organising strike.
