How to plan your journey, and the safety rules for the last stretch to the gate.
The exact location is only shared with ticket holders. Full directions, with the gate location and route photos, are sent to you before the event. Keep them to yourself, please: the site is private land and our hosts live there.
Never cross the main road on foot. The site is beside a busy dual carriageway. If you arrive by bus, make sure you get off on the same side as the entrance, even if that means riding on and catching a bus back.
Finding the gate
Only use the entrance gate in your directions. It's the only gate where you'll be let in.
Don't blindly follow satnav or map apps. They can send you to another entrance or down narrow farm roads.
Don't try to U-turn or cross the central reservation. Your directions explain where to turn around if you're coming from the wrong direction.
Gate security is there at all times, and entry is for ticket holders only.
Getting there without a car
You can get close by train, then take a local bus or a taxi for the last few miles. Your directions name the nearest station and the right bus stop.
Check current train and bus times before you set off.
Local buses can finish in the early evening, so have a taxi number ready if you're arriving late.
Look for lifts in the Nest Rideshare, or ask in your crew or camp group.
